"Albaida es una localidad valenciana situada en el centro de su Comunidad, limitando con la provincia de Alicante. Esta formada por el propio nucleo urbano y el barrio de L'Aljorf. Pertenece a la comarca del Valle de Albaida.
Situada en el margen izquierdo del rio Albaida (afluente del Jucar) es un territorio bastante llano a excepción de la parte sur donde se eleva la sierra de Agullent, prolongación natural de la sierra de Benicadell que se extiende hacia el oeste delimitando las provincias de Alicante y Valencia.
La agricultura (frutas, hortalizas, aceitunas y uva de mesa) y la industria textil (edredones, colchas, mantelerias, sabanas, mantas, etc.) son las principales fuentes de ingresos de la población. En la actualidad se estan llevando a cabo diferentes medidas para promocionar el turismo de interior y el amplio patrimonio histórico, cultural y gastronómico de la zona.
Se encuentra a unos 85 Km. de Valencia".

Located on the left bank of the Albaida river (a tributary of the Jucar) it is a fairly flat territory except for the southern part where the Sierra de Agullent rises, a natural prolongation of the Sierra de Benicadell that extends to the west delimiting the provinces of Alicante. and Valencia.
Agriculture (fruits, vegetables, olives and table grapes) and the textile industry (quilts, bedspreads, tablecloths, sheets, blankets, etc.) are the main sources of income for the population.
