The brick Warialda Courthouse was built in 1882 to replace a former building constructed in 1848 which due to an increasing population was considered too small. The courthouse is cruciform in plan having gables with corbelled decoration facing each direction, the front verandah with heavy wooden decoration and paired posts turned back at sides..
