The vertical cliffs of over 100 meters are impressive and there are several caves that the boats sail into. On the trip, information is provided about nature, history and the birds.
The boat trips last 90 minutes and are canceled in windy weather. In the high season there are daytours to Mykines. Mykines is often said to be the pearl of the Faroes. Here is a small village with narrow paths and thousands of puffins.
Tickets for the sailing trip are bought in the information centre, located close to the harbour. The boats are licensed to carry 48 passengers so in high season it is a good idea to book a ticket in advance.
