The two-storey brick building has a similar brown-brick fence at the front of the property, with inserts of ornate cast iron filigree and white panels for the pedestrian gate and the two vehicle gates. At either end of the brick fence about 2 metres off the ground are facing standing white lions. From the fenced boundary there is just a small distance with a concrete footpath and sections of grass until the kerbed road. Depending on the direction the lion's head is facing is that front paw placed on a 15cm diameter ball.
