These verses from the Gospel of Saint Matthew are etched into a large stone book at Roselawn Memorial Gardens cemetery on Route 322 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. The book is part of a stone structure on the eastern edge of the cemetery, along the woodline. The verses are from the Lord's Sermon on the Mount in the sixth chapter of Saint Matthew's Gospel, verses 9-13, wherein Christ is teaching his disciples how to pray. There He gives them what has become known as the Lord's Prayer. This is a prayer which every Christian knows. The version at the cemetery includes the doxology which is added to the prayer by Protestants. The text says:

"Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth. As it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive them, that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil; for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."
