WWII memorial plinth by Holy Trinity church, Walton.

The memorial consists of a bronze plaque set on a stone plinth. The tablet is below five oak trees that were planted to commemorate the five men of Walton who were killed. There are also four "substantial" stone seats nearby.

The inscription reads -
IN MEMORIUM
1939-1945
ALBERT BROWN. CHARLES BURT.
DENNIS GILES. WILLIAM LOCKE.
MAURICE NORTON.
They shall grow not old, as we that
are left grow old: Age shall not weary
them, nor the years condemn. At the
going down of the sun and in the
morning We will remember them.
