EN: This historic draw well is located near the church in the center of Dambach-la-Ville. The surround and the structure are made of sandstone. The stones are held together with iron clamps. The wheel and its suspension are also made of iron. A year is engraved in the upper part, but it is no longer possible to read it. The last digit is probably an 8. Two very similar wells nearby are dated to the early 18th century.

The well is filled in with earth. Perhaps the well is sometimes planted, but it was not during my visit.

FR: Ce fontaine de tirage historique se trouve à proximité de l'église, au centre de Dambach-la-Ville. La bordure et la structure sont en grès. Les pierres sont maintenues ensemble par des agrafes en fer. La roue et sa suspension sont également en fer. Une année est gravée dans la partie supérieure, mais elle n'est plus lisible. Le dernier chiffre est probablement un 8. Deux puits très similaires situés à proximité sont datés du début du 18e siècle.

Le puits est rempli de terre. Peut-être le puits est-il parfois végétalisé, mais ce n'était pas le cas lors de ma visite.

DE: Dieser historische Ziehbrunnen steht in der Nähe der Kirche im Zentrum von Dambach-la-Ville. Die Brunneneinfassung und der Aufbau bestehen aus Sandstein. Die Steine sind mit Eisenklammern zusammengehalten. Das Rad und seine Aufhängung sind auch aus Eisen. Im oberen Teil ist eine Jahreszahl eingraviert, die sich aber nicht mehr lesen lässt. Die letzte Ziffer ist vermutlich eine 8. Zwei sehr ähliche Brunnen in der Nähe sind auf das frühe 18. Jahrhundert datiert.

Der Schacht ist mit Erde aufgefüllt. Vielleicht wird der Brunnen manchmal bepflanzt, bei meinem Besuch war das aber nicht der Fall.
