Hattie O. Hanna was but forty-six years of age at the time of her death. Her Woodmen Circle grave marker is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut branches, set on a base of four cut logs that are adorned with leaves and ivy. The inscription is:

A precious one from us
has gone. A voice we loved is
