DK:

Faciliteter for besøgende: To observationsskjul, Klydeskjulet og Bjergandeskjulet. Husk altid at have hunden i snor.

ENG:
General information: The majority is owned by the Karen Krieger Foundation, but since 1982 has been administered and managed by the Bird Protection Foundation. Bøjden Nor has been designated by the EU as a NATURA-2000 area, whose natural content requires special attention and effort.

Nature types: Lagoon lake with two breeding islands, cattle-grazed salt meadow and grassland.

Facilities for visitors: Two observation shelters, the Klydeskjulet and the Bjergandeskjulet. The cloakroom is accessible to wheelchair users. From the observation shelters, you can experience birdlife from a few meters away. In addition, there is access and a good view along the beach and from the road embankment to the harbour. The rich bird life disappears if there is no peace and quiet in the reserve. Therefore, there is only access on the established paths and on the beach. Always remember to keep the dog on a leash.

Best season to visit: Spring, autumn and winter, excluding ice winters.

Of birds you can for example see, northern lapwing, seagulls, sea eagle, grey heron, common buzzard, and many Danish small birds.
