EN: This stone cross stands at a junction in the vineyards between Dieffenthal and Dambach-La-Ville.

It is about four and a half meters high and carries a stone figure of Jesus.

The base is over one meter high and contains a white stone slab with inscriptions. The foot of the foundation is also inscribed. Unfortunately, both texts are no longer legible. From the individual recognizable words I suspect a Bible quotation in the white part and below some information about the founders of the cross and the year of origin.

FR: Cette croix en pierre se trouve à une bifurcation dans les vignobles entre Dieffenthal et Dambach-La-Ville.

Elle mesure environ quatre mètres et demi de haut et porte une statue de Jésus en pierre.

Le socle mesure plus d'un mètre de haut et contient une plaque de pierre blanche avec des inscriptions. Le pied de la fondation porte également des inscriptions. Malheureusement, les deux textes ne sont plus lisibles. D'après les différents mots reconnaissables, je suppose qu'il s'agit d'une citation biblique dans la partie blanche et, en dessous, d'indications sur les fondateurs de la croix et l'année de sa création.

Es ist rund viereinhalb Meter hoch und trägt eine steinerne Jesusfigur.

Der Sockel ist über einen Meter hoch und beinhaltet eine weisse Steinplatte mit Inschriften. Auch der Fuss des Fundaments ist beschriftet. Leider sind beide Texte nicht mehr lesbar. Aus den einzelnen erkennbaren Wörtern vermute ich im weissen Teil ein Bibelzitat und darunter Angaben über die Stifter des Kreuzes und das Entstehungsjahr.
