Zur Landesgartenschau 2014, am 26.04.2014 wurde das Forum Gold und Silber eingeweiht. Es ist ein schlichter Betonbau mit einer außergewöhnlichen Fassade. Die aus goldfarbenen Aluminiumelementen bestehende Hülle "... folgt der Form des 'Facettenschliffs' in der Verarbeitung von Edelsteinen" erläutert das Architekturbüro Isin u. Co. So wird Bezug genommen zur Jahrhunderte alten Geschichte der Edelsteinverarbeitung in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Im Gebäude befindet sich ein bekanntes Restaurant, das auch eine schöne Terrasse hat.

Forum Gold and Silver

The Forum Gold and Silver was inaugurated on 26 April 2014 for the State Garden Show 2014. It is a simple concrete building with an unusual façade. The shell consisting of gold-coloured aluminium elements "... follows the shape of the 'facet cut' in the processing of gemstones" explains the architectural office Isin u. Co. Thus reference is made to the centuries-old history of gemstone processing in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
