Centenarian Vivian Haddox's final resting place is marked by a large upright headstone she shares with her spouse Leonard who preceded her in death by 64 years. Their plot is at the far southwest corner of the cemetery.

Vivian Haddox went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the age of 104.
The daughter of Lou and Mattie (Harless) Williams was born January 17, 1914, in Ardmore, OK. The majority of her childhood was spent in Depew and the surrounding communities of Milfay, Gypsy, and Big Pond. In fact, one day while south of Depew, she first met Leonard Haddox. In the days to follow Vivian and Leonard found themselves walking miles just to see each other. On October 16, 1932 the couple would marry. The newly-wed couple continued living in the area in which she was raised. Being the wife of a farmer, Vivian found herself often helping on the farm. She gardened, fed the animals, and even helped pick cotton. However, raising her children became her primary responsibility. She made sure they were fed three times a day, cooking all the meals on a wood-burning cook stove. She even ironed their clothes with an iron heated on the stove. Her family was her life, and after the death of her husband she continued to provide to the best of her ability. She worked cleaning houses, doing ironing, and after she moved to Claremore, she ran the Westside Laundry.
As dedicated as she was to her family. She was also just as dedicated to her church, Westside Holiness. Her move to Claremore in 1961 was actually to follow a pastor, who just happened to be her son-in-law. Vivian would credit her church and the power of prayer for helping her get through various stages of her life. There are also many people in church, including her family, who are very thankful for what was considered the best chicken and dumplings around.
Vivian always had a sunny outlook on life, and never complained. She loved gardening, canning, going fishing, and traveling. She was ready to go. Call her anytime and she would be ready before you could pick her up. Her heart was huge as she enjoyed helping others, and would give whatever she could even if it meant she would go without.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard, sons Leonard Haddox, Jr., Gary Haddox, and James Haddox; grandchildren Fawna Moore, Marty Haddox, and Reanna Faulkner, sons-in-law Buck Moore and Mike Griffin, daughters-in-law, Jo Haddox, Melba Haddox, and Charlene Haddox, and ten siblings.
Her surviving family includes children Betty Moore, Don Haddox, Wallace Haddox, Leon Haddox and wife Judy, Denny Haddox and wife Nancy, daughter-in-law Joyce Haddox, Sheila Griffin, Treila Andrews and husband Gary, 22 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 39 great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Elwon and Dean Williams from Bakersfield, California and numerous other extended family.
