[FR] Cette pittoresque petite porte en ogive date de la restructuration des remparts, au XV siècle. Seul accès facile de la ville à la mer, on y débarquai les marchandises encombrantes et notamment le vin en provenance de Bordeaux (d'où son nom).

Lors de l'essor de la pêche sardinière (XIX), c'est là que viennent abritet, en hiver, les bateaux désarmés. Le quai, qui menait au plin de carnage até construit peu avant 1930.

[EN] This picturesque little ogival gateway dates back to the restructuring of the ramparts in the 15th century. As the town's only easy access to the sea, it was used to unload bulky goods, notably wine from Bordeaux (hence its name).

In the 16th century, a heavy porie de bon puls he be la ferfragt at night. In the following century, it was walled up to prevent any surprise incursion, but by the time of the Revolution, it was once again in use.

During the sardine fishing boom (XIX), this was the winter shelter for disarmed boats. The quay leading to the "plin de carnage" was built shortly before 1930.
