The Nature Park Moor-Veenland is located in the triangle between the Dutch province of Drenthe, the German Landkreis Emsland and the Grafschaft Bentheim. In addition to these three, the members of the Nature Park are the municipality of Emmen, Gemeinde Twist, Geeste and Wietmarschen, Meppen and Haren (Ems). Since the establishment of the Nature Park in 2006, the members have been jointly committed to the sustainable development of the area and the effective use of the opportunities available.
