The Bush & Lane Piano Company built the factory in 1905 . The Baker Furniture Company purchased the building in 1933. Bosgraaf Commercial purchased the building and began the conversion in 2005.
The Baker Furniture Factory has been renovated and re-opened as The Baker Lofts. The Lofts has residential condominiums and commercial office spaces.
