A relatively small Admiralty anchor leans out front at
Boat House Bistro in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Standing about 3 feet (1 meter) tall, it is on display with a pair of marine propellers in a little landscaped patch by the front porch. The rustic brown iron kedge is propped against the left side of wooden stairs a few steps west of the harbor. Rope is wound around the shank and hangs down from the forelock.
And the restaurant's food? DELICIOUS! Enjoy ocean views from their third floor outdoor dining deck -- and the enclosed dining area one flight down.
