"El edificio tiene una fachada suficientemente actual y se remonta a una reconfiguración del siglo XIX. Fuertemente caracterizado, por otro lado, es la gran sala que se abre al suelo, nacida como teatro para la Accademia dei Solleciti . Éste, construido e inaugurado en 1778 a partir de un proyecto del arquitecto Gasparo Maria Paoletti , tuvo una celebridad considerable albergando habitualmente a la compañía dirigida por el actor Luigi Del Buono , inventor de la máscara florentina de Stenterello.
Renovado por Giuseppe Del Rosso en 1826 , el edificio sufrió una importante restauración estructural en 1843 , según un proyecto de Ulisse Faldi . A pesar de la notoriedad adquirida en el área florentina, el teatro, que lleva el nombre de Gioacchino Rossini desde 1866 , cesó su actividad en 1887 .
En 1896 se documenta su uso como depósito de los volúmenes del Gabinetto Vieusseux y, poco después, como sede de la Iglesia Cristiana Bautista Evangélica . Comprado por este último, el edificio fue radicalmente renovado en 1908, bajo la supervisión de las obras de Vittorio Tarchiani , sin que la sala en la que se creó el espacio destinado al culto pierda las características de su uso anterior, marcado como está por un típico balcón teatral en forma de U sostenido por columnas.
Así se implanta el ábside poligonal sobre el proscenio. Además, en el suelo del mismo hay una trampilla que da acceso a la pila bautismal, . El estilo del ambiente está inspirado en el Renacimiento toscano, en el juego de grises con blanco y en las decoraciones inspiradas en Brunelleschi .
En el número 4 hay una placa, colocada en el carnaval de 2006, en memoria de Luigi Del Buono y la máscara de Stenterello".

The style of the environment is inspired by the Tuscan Renaissance, in the game of gray with white and in the decorations inspired by Brunelleschi.
