The website (
visit link) of this church reads:
"The center of the parish Christus-König Dalum is the Christus-König-Kirche, which is located in the middle of the district Dalum.
The parish includes the districts of Dalum and Wachendorf (Lingen).
The church was built in 1931 according to the plans of the architect Hans Lühn from Lingen. This first church can still be seen today almost unchanged in the tower and the longitudinal aisles. Because of the very strong increase in the number of Catholics after the war, it was expanded in 1956 with a transept and choir by the architect Feldwitsch-Dentrup from Osnabrück.
During the last remodeling in 2006, the baptismal font was placed in the middle of the newly structured nave. Both the articulated brick structure and the simple interior are convincing in form and design for their worship and congregational use.
Since 2006, the Christus-König-Kirche has been one of the four parish churches in the parish community of Geeste."
