Tullbron/Tollbridge of Falkenberg
The toll bridge of Falkenberg is a stone bridge built between 1756 and 1761 over the river Ätran. It is the successor to an earlier wooden bridge that spanned the river further upstream.
The name Toll Bridge comes from the fact that until 1914 you had to pay a toll to cross the bridge.
The toll bridge has been a listed building since 1984. About 3500 vehicles cross it every day. The toll bridge also gives its name to a nearby school - Tollbronskola.
The toll bridge has five arches spanning a length of about 80 metres. It is about 6 metres high and 7 metres wide.
