Reredos in St Peter's church, Finsthwaite.
The reredos in the chancel is made from alabaster with mosaic panels. It dates from 1883, and was made by Salviati (
visit link) . The mosaic panels have depictions of angels, griffin, and a cross with the Lamb of God.
The church was built in 1873–74 to replace a chapel dating from 1724 to 1725. It was paid for by Thomas Newby Wilson of Newby Bridge, the proprietor of the Stott Park Bobbin Mill.
