In Ta Qali Crafts Village, you can see a Luzzo, a Maltese wooden fishing boat, located among the many art shops.

There are special colors on the fishing boats (luzzus) in Malta. A blue, a terracotta red and a yellow interspersed with stripes of white and green. All natural colors reminiscent of the land, the sea, the sun and the green fields. In addition to the colors, there are two eyes in the bow. It is the eye of Osiris that protects against evil spirits.

What is also special about the colors is their position in relation to each other. They tell which part of Malta the boat comes from.
