[ES] Monumento en homenaje a Jorge Juan y Santacilia (1713-1773), humanista, ingeniero naval y científico. Consta de un ancla tipo hall, de 1.200 kilos de peso, realizada en acero fundido, y una cadena de seis metros también de acero, sobre una base escalonada de hormigón visto. Se encuentra en los Jardines del Descubrimiento, en la Plaza de Colón, desde 2014.

[EN] Monument in homage to Jorge Juan y Santacilia (1713-1773), humanist, naval engineer and scientist. It consists of a hall-type anchor, weighing 1,200 kilos, made of cast steel, and a six-meter chain, also made of steel, on a stepped base of exposed concrete. It has been in the Jardines del Descubrimiento, at Plaza de Colón, since 2014.
