Monument in memory of all the people who died as a result of retaliation by the Germans in World War II. Next to the monument is a memorial plaque for a man from Gemert who was killed there on the field.
To never forget!
This sign was erected to remember all those who were killed during the German occupation in retaliation for acts of resistance; people who knew they were innocent and to whom the occupier could only accuse them of belonging to our Dutch community.
