The windmill model is called earth Dutchman, i.e. a Dutchman's mill without a stone round. The mill was built in 1817 and was used for grinding grain until 1948.
Nowadays, the association puts the mill into operation if the wind is sufficient to grind flour from wheat and rye grown in the area. The flour is offered for sale at various events.
