EN: "This square is now considered as the city’s main square, and has existed in its present form since the 1920s. Subsequently remodelled on various occasions, it has now become one of the favourite meeting places for Cordoban people and visitors. Right in the middle of the square, surrounded by the main fountain, stands the equestrian statue of the Gran Capitán by the sculptor Mateo Inurria."
