The Cathedral of the Incarnation was designed to emulate the Gothic style of architecture found through many European churches. The cathedral has many interesting gargoyles and chimeras.

This cathedral was built in 1871 to the memory of Alexander Turney Steward. The architects were John Kellum and Henry G Harrison. In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful architectural building on Long Island.
Some remodeling of the gutters have been made where the gargoyles are no longer functional but there are still others that have the water spout. Then there are some beautiful ladies Chimeras that can be found.
