Marked by a granite boulder with a plaque affixed to the southern face, this is the original site of the Lundemo Store and Post Office. Established in 1905 by John Waldum on his land, he ran it until his death in 1928 it would then be moved to another farm and finally closed in 1949.

LUNDEMO POST OFFICE
1905-1928
Commemorating Lundemo Store and Post Office
Established by John and Mary Waldum the post office was named for Lundemo, Norway the birthplace of John Waldum
Mail and Supplies were hauled from Wetaskiwin in a two day trip by wagon
After John Waldum's death in 1928 Mr. Sealund briefly ran the post office until it was moved to the Hatfield farm
The Lundemo post office was officially closed in 1949
