Astronaut - Tulsa, OK - Anamorphous Street Art on Waymarking.com

This amazingly realistic mural of an astronaut is on the southwest side of the Grooper building. Created by JEKS, a graffiti/mural artist from Greensboro, North Carolina, the piece depicts the top half of an astronaut with part of the Tulsa skyline reflecting off the helmet. The backdrop consists of the dark night sky speckled with stars and the moon hanging above the astronaut’s head. The space suit is adorned with a Tulsa Remote shoulder patch, a nod to the George Kaiser Family Foundation. In particular, the astronaut's helmet is convincingly three-dimensional. You can park right by the mural.
