Hulbert IOOF Cemetery is south of Highway 51, about a mile west of Hulbert. There are about two thousand memorials here. The cemetery is active and well maintained.
Location Details:
Hulbert is a town in Cherokee County named after Ben H. Hulbert, a prominent Cherokee man. The first structures here (a grist mill and a general store) date back to 1890. Based on grave stone death dates, the IOOF cemetery was established at about that time as well. It is near Hulbert Landing, at Fourteenmile Creek.
