The Sturkö mill and granary dates from 1901 and now functions as a cafe with art and handicraft exhibitions.
The mill is built on a cliff from which there is a view of the sea.
The mill was built by Anton Månsson.
The woodwork is discarded ship masts from the the shipyard in Karlskrona. These were discarded because they were too short to be masts, but were then usable for mill construction.
The mill was in operation until 1964. From the 1930s it operated with a motor instead of blades.
After 20 years of decay, the mill was bought and restored by a voluntary local association. With the help of grants, fundraising and voluntary work, they got the mill up and running and it is now in very good condition.
Open: daily between 27/6 - 15/8 from 11 am to 5 pm.
