Ubicado en la antigua sala capitular, posee un artesonado mudéjar del siglo XVI. Alberga una selección de su patrimonio pictórico y escultórico, con relevantes obras de Pedro de Mena y José Ribera entre otros. La colección se completa con objetos litúrgicos de platería, talla y bordado, destacando custodias, relicarios, juegos de altar y crucificados de marfil. La visita se realiza conjuntamente con la de la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación.
Se divide en dos salones en los que se pueden observar diversas obras que proceden de los distintos emplazamientos de la catedral, en el primero se pueden observar obras de arte mientras que el segundo contiene objetos relacionados con la religión, además de cerámicas y tallas.
Dentro de las pinturas que se pueden observar en la primera sala destacan grandes autores como José de Ribera o Luis Morales. En esta misma sala comparten espacio pequeñas esculturas del siglo XVII.
La silla episcopal del obispo Santos Olivera preside la segunda sala, en la que se pueden ver otros elementos litúrgicos, destacando piezas de orfebrería y de marfil.
Located in the old chapter house, it has a Mudejar coffered ceiling from the 16th century. It houses a selection of his pictorial and sculptural heritage, with relevant works by Pedro de Mena and José Ribera, among others. The collection is completed with liturgical objects of silverware, carving and embroidery, highlighting monstrances, reliquaries, altar sets and ivory crucified. The visit is carried out jointly with that of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Incarnation.
It is divided into two rooms in which you can see various works that come from the different locations of the cathedral, in the first you can see works of art while the second contains objects related to religion, as well as ceramics and carvings.
Among the paintings that can be seen in the first room, great authors such as José de Ribera or Luis Morales stand out. Small sculptures from the 17th century share space in this same room.
The episcopal chair of Bishop Santos Olivera presides over the second room, in which other liturgical elements can be seen, highlighting pieces of gold and ivory.
