This station formerly provided services from 1878 to 2000. The current building was erected in 1945 and lastly served commuter rail trains until it closed in 2000. The station still sees activity as the rail line it was built on is still active, the station itself however is not. It has since been purchased by a non-profit and re-opened as a museum by the Montgomery Preservation, Inc.
