 Description of Memorial: The memorial is a gold-colored plaque attached to a large boulder at the northeast corner of the park. The boulder is set on a red brick monument. Directly in front of this portion of the memorial is a silhouette sculpture of a uniformed soldier kneeling before a small cross. A static artillery display is also part of the memorial.
