[FIN] Emil Cedercreutz oli Satakuntalainen kuvanveistäjä joka eli vuosina 1879 - 1949. Hänen pronssisia erilaisia maaseudun ammatteja kuvaavia patsaita on monessa eri kunnassa. Harjavallasta löytyy museo hänen töistään.
Tämä ojankaivaja patsas on vuodelta 1936, mutta se on paljastettu tässä paikassa vasta vuonna 2019. Patsas ja juhlistaa Ylisenpään kylien valintaa vuoden 2018 maakuntakyläksi. Samalla se on muistimerkki satakuntalaista maaseudun ahkeraa väkeä. Patsaan on lahjoittanut Emil Cedercreutz säätiö ja se sijaitsee Kodiksamin kylätalon edessä.
[EN] Emil Cedercreutz was a sculptor from Satakunta who lived between 1879 and 1949. His bronze statues depicting various rural occupations can be found in many different municipalities. There is a museum of his works in Harjavalta.
This ditch digger statue is from 1936, but it was only revealed in this place in 2019. The statue celebrates the selection of the villages of Ylisenpää as the provincial village of 2018. At the same time, it is a memorial to the hard-working rural people of Satakunta. The statue was donated by the Emil Cedercreutz Foundation and is located in front of the Kodiksami village hall.
