From Exit 329 on I-80, drive south then southeast on Monument Road (County Road 234) for about 0.70 miles. Park on the side of the road and walk southwest across Forest Service land to the junction of a north-south and east-west fence line. The marker is at the center of the fence junction, and is surrounded by a large circle of rocks that have been placed around the section corner with "spokes" of rocks that run in towards the circle's center.
