To reach the azimuth mark from the junction of State Highway 210 (Happy Jack Road) and FS-701 at N41 12.922 W105 20.357, drive for about one mile on FS-701 to a Y-junction at a corral. Turn right onto FS-701G; a 4WD or AWD vehicle with high clearance is recommended from this point forward. Drive or hike along FS-701G for about one mile to the azimuth mark on the right. The azimuth mark is set in the top of a granite boulder that projects about 1.5 feet above the ground and is about 6 feet to the southeast of the edge of the road.
