Platero es una escultura en bronce situada en una zona infantil del Parque de Málaga, en la ciudad homónima de España.
Representa al burro de la narración lírica Platero y yo (elegía andaluza) de Juan Ramón Jiménez. La escultura es obra de Jaime Fernández Pimentel, el mismo autor del Cenachero, de La Niña de Benalmádena y del Biznaguero. La obra fue concluida en 1968 y en diciembre de 2016 su última restauración.
Platero is a bronze sculpture located in a children's area of ??the Parque de Málaga, in the city of the same name in Spain.
It represents the donkey from the lyrical narrative Platero y yo (Andalusian elegy) by Juan Ramón Jiménez. The sculpture is the work of Jaime Fernández Pimentel, the same author of the Cenachero, La Niña de Benalmádena and the Biznaguero. The work was completed in 1968 and in December 2016 its last restoration.
