This Great Dane is on the south side of Highway 80 at Great Dane Trailers - in Harmony, Indiana.

This 24-foot-tall Great Dane has quite a history. "Champ" was built in 1953 for a trailer dealership in Orlando, Florida. In 1960 the 800-pound statue was moved to Savannah, Georgia, where it stayed for forty years. The statue was restored in 2002, then moved to Indiana and restored again in November 2018 to represent Great Dane Trailers. There is plenty of parking right by the statue. Information signs at the statue give some background on the breed and invites visitors to admire the statue but admonishes them to not climb upon it.
