The historic Clay County Courthouse is in downtown Brazil. The Classical Revival Style courthouse was designed by noted Indiana architect John W. Gaddis and built in 1914. The three-story limestone building features a multi-tiered parapet with clock faces within a tympanum that is adorned with frieze art.
