"Construction of the small church began in 1922. The government granted the men a daily allowance as an emergency allowance throughout the construction period. In 1923 the small church was finished.
The church is a small plastered gable building with round-arched windows and three-sided chancel. Above the hipped gable end there is a slate-covered, half-timbered and brick-covered ridge turret. Typologically and stylistically, the church closely follows the baroque chapel tradition of the Trier region."
