Cameron is a parish covering a rural area to the south of the ancient Fife coastal town of St Andrews in eastern Scotland. The church is situated on the south side of a country lane that runs westwards from the A915 road, and was built in 1808 on the site of an older building that was built in 1646.

The Georgian rectangular building is placed just north of centre of a graveyard that slopes gently to the south and is still in use. The featured gravestone lies to the south of the church and reads as follows:
