Wiki (visit link)

(EN) The Church of Saint-Jacques de Lambour is a Catholic church in ruins located in Pont-l'Abbé in Brittany. The current building was built from the 13th to the 16th century to serve as a trevial church in the village of Lambour, a suburb of Pont-l'Abbé located in the parish of Combrit.

Gothic in style, it takes place in an enclosure that also includes a protohistoric stele. The bell tower was decapitated by royal troops during the revolt of the red caps in 1675. At the end of the 19th century, the church was in very poor condition and the municipal council of Pont-l'Abbé decided to remove the roof. , giving it its present appearance as a romantic ruin.

The building has been a listed historical monument since June 30, 1896 and a listed site since November 22, 19341.

Although in ruins, it remains in use during the pardon of Saint Jacques in July. Wiki (visit link)
