Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Cemetery is located about 2 miles of the city of Harbor Beach, Michigan and connected to the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Parish. The cemetery is the smaller of two connected cemeteries along Lake Huron, the other being Rock Falls Cemetery. Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Cemetery has 1603 memorials, the most famous of which is Frank Murphy. Murphy had been Mayor of Detroit, Governor of Michigan, Attorney General of the United States, and an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court. He was known for his minority opinion known as Murphy's Dissent involving Japanese internment camps during World War II.
