This Vietnam War Memorial is on the southwest side of the Monroe County Courthouse Square. The memorial is a short walk through built into the side of the grounds so that one enters from about street level. The main memorial is a concrete wall into which are etched the names of those who gave their lives. This POW/MIA memorial is in front of the memorial wall. The memorial is comprised of a small abstract sculpture and a plaque.
