The Monroe County Courthouse is in Bloomington. The Beaux Arts building, the third courthouse for this county, was constructed in 1908. The "fish" weather vane from the older building was retained and is atop the new courthouse. The courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
