In 2014 Chef Jemiko opened Senza Gluten Restaurant, the first 100% full dining Gluten Free Italian Restaurant in NYC, located at 206 Sullivan Street. It instantly became “to go place” not only for the tourists but mainly for the locals. His goal was to accommodate thousands of people with celiac disease as well as other allergies.
Chef Jemiko took on a new challenge after successfully running Senza Gluten Restaurant for four years, and in 2018 the Café & Bakery was established.
Apart from him enjoying new challenges, his main goal is to reach as many celiacs throughout the map as possible.
In 2022, Chef Jemiko L. Solo decided to separate from Senza Gluten Restaurant and rename his business to Senza Gluten by Jemiko. Since then, he has concentrated on the Cafe & Bakery in Greenwich Village, and most importantly he developed a new plan for opening this restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen in 2023 – Senza Gluten By Jemiko 100% Gluten-Free Restaurant.
