From the junction of Antelope Road and an unnamed dirt road at N43 32.625 W105 20.555, the azimuth mark is located about 380 feet away at a bearing of about 290 degrees. It is about 28 feet north of a fence junction, about 1 foot to the east of a north-south fence line, and set in the top of a square concrete monument that projects about 4 inches above the ground.
Please note! This triangulation station, along with its reference marks and azimuth mark, are located on U.S. Forest Service land that is under lease by a nearby mining operation. While the marks are on Forest Service land that is within the boundaries of Thunder Basin National Grassland, public access is not allowed at the current time due to active mining in the area of the lease boundary. This land will ultimately become publicly accessible again as part of the mine closure process in future years, but at the current time, public access is not allowed. I had the opportunity to visit these marks as part of my job and, since they will one day be publicly accessible again, have published them as Waymarks.
