The engraved pavers make up the pathway around the memorial. This is a beautiful way to honor those who have made a brave and selfless commitment to protect our freedom. It serves as a timeless reminder of the dedication that our military members make towards society each day.
The memorial consists of a circular plaza with the American flag in the center of the plaza. A small garden surrounds the flag. Five benches on the outer circle. Behind the flag is a monument which is surrounded by five flags of the Armed Services. There is a beautiful water feature behind the Smithtown Veterans Plaza sign.
