This is one of several Flora and Fauna Information Signs on the Rotary Park Nature Trail at North Woods. Some of the signs are large, identifying many species; other (like this one) are devoted to a single example. This small sign is in front of a Persimmon Tree. The sign also gives an image of the leaf, just in case you didn't notice the tree that is right there.
