This fully-restored Northern Pacific Depot is on the National Register of Historic Places and appears much as it did while in use. The stationmaster's office includes a telegraphy exhibit. A vintage caboose, mining, and logging memorabilia are also on display, and one of the rail cars contains a model railroad depicting the rail line between Issaquah and Woodinville. Also on site are trolley cars that are being restored by locals in hopes of re-establishing a trolley line through the downtown area.
Museum Hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 11 p.m. - 3 p.m.; From June 1 to August 31, Thursdays from 4 PM to 8 PM.
Address: 50 Rainier Blvd. N., Issaquah, WA 98027
In the Summer there is a Saturday Farmer's Market nearby and in early. October the town hosts the very popular festival "Salmon Days" celebrating the salmon's return up the creek running through town.
Other attractions in town are the Historic Gilman Village, a boutique style shopping village comprised of renovated historic buildings, and Boehms Chocolate Factory, which offers tours of the factory and the grounds. The town is a mecca for artists, so there are also some great galleries to visit. Nearby are the "Issaquah Alps", a favorite spot for hikers and hanggliders.
